His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Board of Governors, graced the Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony in conjunction with Ramadhan, organised by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. The ceremony took place at Dewan An-Naura, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, Bandar Seri Begawan, 3rd March afternoon.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as member of the Yayasan Board of Governors; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence as Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors, and Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development, as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan. The ceremony began with the reading of takhtim Al-Qur'an led by Awang Ahmad Rithaudin bin Haji Sabtu, an Officer at Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. 30 officers and staff of Yayasan completed their Al-Qur'an readings.

Doa Khatam and Doa Selamat were read by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Haji Murat. The ceremony continued with breaking of the fast and mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer. Also present were members of the Yayasan Board of Directors; Pengiran Muda Mahkota Al-Muhtadee Billah Fund for Orphans Board of Trustees; invited guests, officers and staff of Yayasan; as well as teachers at Yayasan School.
